In recent times, there has been a remarkable effort to rehabilitate Culture and Classical Languages ​​in the Portuguese Education System. In this context, it is essential to update teaching practices that allow teachers to broaden and scientifically base their options on teaching-learning methods, resources/ tools to use, teaching materials, according to students' needs, the characteristics of the school and of the teacher himself. This volume brings together national and foreign contributions from researchers and secondary school teachers. It approaches several questions related to teaching and learning of Culture and Classical Languages, associating the research carried out in this area with the practical activity of teaching Latin, Greek and Classical Culture. Intending to reflect on the challenges that the teaching of Classical Studies poses today, this work, while referring to a historical retrospective of Didactics in the area, includes a set of didactic proposals that allow a suitable comparison of the different models and teaching learning methods available to the current educational agents.
